We had a wonderful week here in July with the family. The area is beautiful, and Al Monte Vacanze makes it easy to explore the valley and get to the trailheads. The village is close to Bormio, so it’s peaceful while still near the amenities. Our apartment was brand new, spotless, thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Space is used very cleverly throughout: the main bedroom has a large closet, and the comfortable double sofa bed folds away easily without taking off the cushions. Miriam and her family welcomed us warmly, gave us helpful tips about excursions and sights, and were always kind and attentive while staying discreet. There’s parking by the entrance and a private outdoor area with a table and chairs. In winter, the nearby ski bus stop is a real plus. Dogs are especially well looked after: they’re welcome, and you can ask for a nap mat and sofa blanket. A good choice for families with children, four adults, or pets.

We’ll definitely stay here again. It’s already feeling like our go-to place in Bormio. The house is spacious, clean and recently renovated, with a lovely view and careful attention to small details. Its location is handy, just a few minutes from Bormio and five minutes from both the new and old QC spa. You can park near the house, which makes loading and unloading luggage easy. Miriam and her husband are kind and available for questions or local information.

A handy base for getting out on excursions, and cyclists can leave their bikes in the bike room beside the apartment. The place itself is cozy and clean. The hosts are very kind and attentive, and share the local information you need to enjoy your stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

We arrived in the snow, and by morning the road had been cleared! Miriam was really helpful with suggestions for bars and restaurants. The little house is gorgeous, just five minutes from the center, and has a warm, welcoming feel. We felt at home, and the apartment was even better than we expected. We’ll be back!
