Breakfast under the archway was lovely, and our room had a generous sitting area and a large, comfortable bed. We got a wonderful welcome and lots of information about the villa, the area, and places to visit. The villa is on the edge of a nice town, right in the Prosecco area. It’s an old building with plenty of character, so you won’t find modern hotel standardization here. What you do get is comfort, personal service, a warm welcome, and the chance to spend time in a lovely, genuine old villa in a beautiful part of the world.

Annalisa made our stay at villa Barberina exceptional. She was enthusiastic and responsive, always available, and gave us great suggestions for restaurants, museums, and cities to visit. My boyfriend and I spent a couple of summer nights in a luxury suite, right in the middle of the vineyard, and the magical scenery inspired his wedding proposal. Villa Barberina will always have a special place in our hearts. My future husband and I highly recommend it for the genuine welcome, the best breakfast, and of course the best prosecco. You can taste the owners' own top-quality Prosecco while enjoying this beautiful property. The villa feels private, but they welcomed us so warmly that we felt like part of the family.

The food was delicious, and the place was peaceful and quiet. It’s well kept, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent. If you want a pleasant place to stay in the Valdobbiadene region, this is a great choice.

It’s a charming place, full of history and interesting details. It only opens on the first Wednesday of each month, like a few other villas, but it’s worth a visit just to see the main house and hear a little about its story. The guide speaks English, Italian, and Spanish.
