Agriturismo Le Nosare

The move to a tiny glamping tent between the soccer field and pool took away the quiet we’d had at our original pitch. Every few minutes there was a terrible sewage smell right beside it, and we ended up leaving the campsite each day. We’d come hoping to treat ourselves, but Le Nosare didn’t live up to our expectations or the standards it says it has. There was a double booking when we arrived, and after the first night we were moved out of our own tent. Communication about the move was almost nonexistent, which caused a lot of confusion. They offered free breakfast as an apology, but at well over 100 euros a night, two people with a tent and tourist tax included, I expected much more. The campsite is attractive and close to towns like Verona and Lago di Garda, but it is way overpriced. Facilities were also lacking for that price. There was just one shower and one toilet per gender, and the women's toilet had no toiletpaper on any of the five evenings we stayed. I was looking forward to using the gym, but the equipment was not maintained, with some broken and some dangerous to use. The campsite is beautiful and well located, but a lot of things aren’t taken care of. Our stay was unfortunately nowhere near as nice as other reviewers’.

The pitch was lovely, and the pool and play areas made this a really great campsite for kids. I’d give the pitch 5 out of 5, except for one major issue: there’s only one toilet and shower per gender, which needs addressing. We paid the highest pitch fee we’ve ever paid at a campsite anywhere in Europe, so that setup just isn’t acceptable.

I came with low expectations, especially given the low price, but the place kept winning me over. There’s a nice atmosphere, several playgrounds, a pool, and games like table tennis. The couple who run it are super friendly and always glad to help. It’s a bit secluded, which can be a plus too.

We had a truly amazing time and will definitely be back. The place is beautiful, with a great pool area and a kids' play space with gravel tractors, swings, and a slide. Breakfast was lovely, the rooms were very clean, and the owners are really nice. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable we’ve slept on, but the rest was so amazing I couldn’t even take half a star off. Thank you!
