The bedrooms on site were really convenient, and Zoe and Lapo were kind and available for everything. We were all very happy, they went beyond what we expected. The place is beautiful and full of thoughtful details, like a little enchanted countryside setting, with everything you need for any kind of event. We can only recommend it. Thanks for the hospitality!
The list of vendors they share is a big help if you’re organizing extras from out of town. I tried two, one for food and one for the cake, and both were really good. For my best friend's bachelorette party at Barbisa 1852, we wanted to give her something personal and special. Zoè handled every detail and brought our idea to life. Her kindness and passion made the whole thing work from start to finish. Highly recommended! 😊
The two days were really lovely, and the venue was beautiful with lots of attention to detail. We chose it for our bachelorette party, but the rooms didn’t get the same care: cleanliness and details there were a bit lacking. They should give the sleeping areas the same attention they put into setting up the event spaces. They also have some cats. They can be charming, but we sometimes found them on the beds where we were meant to sleep and in the kitchen where the food was, which was a bit annoying.
The only real drawback was that the interior could use some renovation for overnight stays, along with a bit more attention to cleaning. Nothing serious, though. I stayed here for my bachelorette party, which my friends organized, and it was a wonderful experience in a peaceful natural setting. Two very kind, friendly brothers planned everything down to the smallest detail: a treasure hunt, decorations, games and pranks, a wedding-themed dinner (sage green and Ireland for me), a picnic on the lawn, and photos and videos they took and sent us that same day. We also made our own personalized lantern in a course, which was great fun and left me with a lovely keepsake. The care they put into details and keeping guests entertained is what makes the Barbisa experience special. Highly recommended for any event. Thanks again for a wonderful time! The dried flower vase decorating activity was lovely. I went to a bachelorette party here, and the place was super cute, tucked into the hills. The two owners were welcoming and kind, and kept an eye on us the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly.
