Klosterle 2018

Both apartments were spotlessly clean and comfortably, beautifully furnished. They had everything we could need, and the hostess was incredibly friendly. We highly recommend them.

We enjoyed our 2018 stay at Klösterle so much that we’ve already booked for next year. The owner is kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. The price is very affordable, which is becoming rare in the Aurina Valley, and I recommend it to everyone. The apartment is spacious and airy, with two beautiful bedrooms and a large, comfortable living room and kitchen. The whole house was spotless and had everything we needed. It’s just outside Lutago, on the way to Rio Bianco, the last building on the left. The village shops are about a 10-minute walk away.

The host, Patrizia, was friendly and so kind and helpful, from booking through to our arrival. We had a very pleasant stay and will be back. There were eight of us, and the apartment had plenty of space for our group. The upper floor is newly finished, comfortable, and great for a restful night. Downstairs, we loved the quaint, antique living area. It’s a little dark, but has an old-world feel that gave us an authentic mountain atmosphere. The big square table worked well for our large meals. The staircase to the upper floor is very steep, so it’s not ideal for elderly people. They could sleep in the ground-floor room instead.

Patrizia, the owner, is kind and helpful, and there’s a small garden and parking. Lutago is a little way off, but the apartment is well placed for many outings in Rio Bianco and beyond. The village has three supermarkets, a butcher, a bakery, shops selling local products, and a tourist office. From there, you can explore the valley on different routes for all abilities, by bike or on foot.
