We only stopped for one night, but the schnitzel was so good we ordered another round. The owner and staff were super nice, too. Our apartment was roomy enough for all four of us, and the main ski lift is close by. A little gem for skiers.

We'd come back just for the food. The four-course half-board meals were carefully prepared and tasted fantastic, and breakfast had everything we could want. The espresso machine coffee was superb. Barbara seemed to anticipate what we needed, and the value for money was outstanding. We spent seven days at the Steinhauswirt and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was quiet and clean, with regular cleaning, and there was a sauna, underground parking and an outdoor parking space. The ski storage room was handy, and the Klausberg Ski World valley station is less than a three-minute walk away. Buses to Bruneck stop right at the hotel, which made exploring the area easy.
