We found it easier to get around by car, since the property is near many hiking spots but public transport may be less convenient. The family who runs the place takes good care of it and offered helpful ideas for local visits and activities. It's within about an hour of the main places to see in the South Tirol Dolomites. The sauna operates only in winter. Our room was spacious, furnished nicely, and looked out at the mountains. It was quiet and the view was stunning. The kitchen had all the appliances, and fresh milk and eggs from the attached farm were available daily for a small price. There are plenty of animals around, including rabbits, pigs, cats, a horse, chickens, and cows. Kids can play on the swings in the small area that overlooks the mountains. It's a great base for hiking or skiing, and we'd recommend it to couples and families.

The farm's milk was some of the tastiest we've had, and the hosts were really sweet and helpful. We loved the spacious apartment, its well equipped kitchen, and balcony opening onto the valley. It's a beautiful spot away from the usual tourist areas, and one of the best stays we've experienced. I would've appreciated having basics like salt and oil in the kitchen.
