Residence Baia Verde, Valledoria

Club Hotel Residence Baiaverde was a great choice for a relaxing break or a family holiday. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help, and the food was very good with lots of fresh, tasty options. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beautiful beach. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return!

The hotel’s evening music was so loud that we could hear it even with the windows shut, sometimes until midnight. It was mostly children’s music, and the volume didn’t fit the otherwise calm, family-friendly atmosphere. During the day, the place felt peaceful and close to nature, with green shade, a pool, a playground, and everything essential on-site. Even with all the bungalows occupied, it never felt crowded, and the sea was only a few steps away. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’m writing this in detail because there were so few recent reviews online before our trip, and I even wondered if the hotel was closed. Our room was simple and clean, with daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and made beds. It had a stove that guests weren’t allowed to use, no kettle, and lots of kitchenware that felt unnecessary when cooking wasn’t allowed. There was a drying rack and a nice terrace with a table and chairs. The cleaning products smelled strongly of chemicals, so on the first day we had to air the room out for hours. Sensitive guests may want to know that. The beach was quiet and uncrowded, though the sea was often wavy. Sunbeds and umbrellas were available to rent, but I wouldn’t recommend paying for a week. Wind and bad weather meant they were often taken away, so we couldn’t use them. A kind, attentive lifeguard was always on duty. The pool was a little dated but clean and never too busy, with a lifeguard there all the time. Kids’ activities were only in Italian, so they weren’t suitable for children who don’t speak it. There was also a mini disco in the evenings. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with omelettes, pancakes, and fried eggs available on request. The quality was good, there were plenty of drinks, and the dining area was clean and peaceful, though the options got a bit repetitive. At the restaurant, we especially liked the pizza and local fish. One potato dish was disappointing, and although the waiter apologized, no gesture was offered. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere pleasant, but the restaurant closed in the afternoon. For a full lunch, we had to walk 30 minutes to Valledoria or look along the beach.

Getting checked in and out was very easy, and we had a great stay. The apartments were clean and convenient, while the park and beach were beautiful. We picked this residence because it was easy to reach the beach, and that turned out to be absolutely worth it. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay, and we definitely plan to return.

There are two pools, a big playground, and activities that keep kids and adults entertained without being too intrusive. The apartments are lovely and very clean, with a gas kitchen but no microwave. We had the meal plan for breakfast and dinner, and the food was good. The beach has clear sand, a few big rocks, lots of fish, and canoes you can use for free. For a family, this villaggio is a great spot for a relaxing holiday. There are better beaches in Stintino, though, about an hour’s drive away. Isola rossa beach is a 30-minute drive.
