Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food. All excellent.

€50 for this meal was way too much. The quality was poor from beginning to end. At lunch in mid-August, the wine was an embarrassing red, and dessert was supermarket biscuits stuck together with custard. The main was a thin slice of meat that would’ve been more at home in a hospital. Before that came a credit-card-sized piece of lasagna, and an appetizer of meager cold cuts with an unremarkable dairy product. Every course was below zero. Think about it, folks.

We knew the full menu cost €50, but what arrived was still hard to believe. Dessert was two layers of Nonna Vincenza biscuits with custard, followed by just over 100g of watermelon for six people. The main was a slice of meat, over 50g, with fries. Before that, there was a 10cm x 10cm, 3cm thick piece of lasagna. The appetizer was one slice of ham, one of capicollo, two of salami, a tiny bit of cheese, and a small piece of crushed mozzarella. I wouldn’t recommend this experience even to my worst enemy.

Vittorio, the owner, was very friendly, but the photos speak for themselves. The hotel clearly needs renovation and better organization. There’s a lot of potential here if the property is managed properly, and I hope the team can get things under control. As it stands, I can’t give my experience a better rating.
