Fashion Hotel

Breakfast was included, and the hotel had a nice courtyard and a restaurant/bar. We stumbled on this cute little gem, full of beautiful antiques and decorations. The extra bed worked for our kiddo, and the shower was luxurious. As a photographer, I had a lot of fun taking pictures in all the different atmospheres. The guy who checked us in wasn’t very warm, but he was gone the next day and the service was great.

The rooms really let the place down. Ours felt dated and poorly maintained, and the bed was so uncomfortable it was hard to rest. The façade and lobby look pretty good, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, but those are the only positives. I wouldn’t stay again unless the rooms get a serious upgrade.

It was handy having a restaurant and bar right in the hotel for a drink or a quick meal, and there’s free parking on the grounds. Breakfast was good and included in the room price. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very accommodating. A good experience.

The hotel has a fabulous atmosphere, and we really liked the restaurant. The food was spot on, prices were fantastic, and the portions were big enough for my husband and me to share one meal. With an alcoholic drink and dessert, our evening bill averaged €25. Breakfast was good too, though a little basic, with something for everyone: meats and cheese, pastries, cereal, yogurts, and juices. The coffee was amazing. I was worried about being on foot so close to the motorway, and about traffic noise. There’s a safe pavement all the way into Valmontone, though crossing the roundabout felt a little dodgy, so stay alert there. Once across, it’s fine, and the room windows kept the motorway noise out. Our room was basic but had what we needed. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the shower didn’t do most of the things its jets, lights, and spray settings suggested. Only the basic shower head was usable. The room was cleaned every day, and the minibar was reasonably priced and restocked daily. There’s a lovely patio outside and a large first-floor sun terrace with a few small tables and chairs, a nice place to relax in the early evening sun.
