We were there with our bike team while crossing the Alps and were treated very kindly. Dinner was unbelievable: salad from the garden, lasagne as a starter, meat for the main course, and tiramisu for dessert. The ingredients all seemed to come from the farm or nearby neighbors. It’s a fully organic hotel with a nice atmosphere, and a really good place for a vacation.

We loved every part of our two-week summer stay at Obermoarhof. I usually spend summer holidays at the beach, so I was unsure about going to the mountains, but this region is wonderful and the weather was perfect. There’s loads to do, especially with kids. The location is great, with lots of interesting places just minutes away. The apartments are comfortable and extremely well kept. I was surprised they were cleaned every day, and it was lovely to return to a spotless place with fresh towels. The common areas are beautiful, full of flowers, and the kids loved feeding the animals. Bikes were available to borrow, and there are lots of places nearby to ride or run. The owners were lovely and shared plenty of tips for things to do. They also cooked us incredibly good pizzas and prepared a barbecue. I can’t think of a better place to stay in this region.

We only stayed one night, so I can’t say much. The room was clean and nice, and a bit bigger than I expected. The older woman who welcomed us was very nice, though she doesn’t speak English. No complaints, it was great.

There was a bad smell in the area. The nearest restaurant is 4 km away, and the room on the third floor had no balcony.
