It's in a small, lively town with all the amenities, and the beach is easy to get to from here.

On my first stay at Villa Maria, what struck me first was how close it is to the sea, just a few steps away. The owner and staff are lovely and willing to help with whatever we ask. The food is family-style. One drawback this year was the heat: it was obvious as soon as we arrived, and most rooms have only a fan, with no air conditioning.

We enjoyed relaxing outside, with loungers, tables, chairs, foosball, and ping pong for the kids. The hotel is also only steps from the sea, with parking included and several free beaches nearby. We took trips to other beaches too. Our favorite part was how kind and helpful the owners and staff were, including with our dogs. Meals were excellent, with seconds available at lunch and dinner, and there was a good breakfast buffet with self-serve drinks. It was hot during our stay, which was on the hottest days, and our room only had a fan. Still, no complaints from us about that. We stayed four days and would go back in a heartbeat!
