The location is ideal, though nearby dogs woke us at dawn every morning. The apartment felt very basic and neglected. The shower cubicle was mouldy and squeezed beside the washing machine; the rug was stained, the sofa had a sheet over it, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. It wouldn't take much to make the place fabulous, which makes its condition a shame. We raised these problems during our stay, especially the mould. They acknowledged what we said but took no action. Sorry, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We booked this cabin style apartment, Casa del Tiglio, for four nights on our honeymoon but left after just one. The back door wouldn't close, let alone lock, and half the gates and keys didn't work. Bugs, heat, loud neighbours, tourists coming on and off the ferry, and rain the next day made the stay miserable. The apartment was barely serviceable, and the people running it didn't seem to care about its condition. We returned the keys and confirmed with the property manager that we were cancelling, but they refused any refund or reimbursement. Awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The apartment is beautiful, with a lake view and a welcoming feel. It's meticulously furnished and perfectly located.
