The owners’ warmth, welcome, and readiness to help made this beautiful, comfortable place feel special. Set among the rocky slopes that descend to the lake, the house sits in the heart of the old medieval village. It has two bathrooms and spacious, well-equipped rooms that blend old and modern styles nicely. It’s also a handy base for trips around the lake, to Milan, Valtellina, and Switzerland. A lovely place to spend a few quiet days surrounded by history. E&F recommend it.

Casa di Rosa was a great base for our family weekend exploring picturesque Varenna and nearby villages. The apartment is spacious, bright, and practical, and its location worked really well. We’d happily recommend it.

Right in the heart of Varenna, this lovely home is simply but elegantly furnished and has all the comforts you need. It would suit a restful holiday by the lake, or a stay spent exploring the area and its wonderful places.
