Il Giardino di Alice

You’ll find a little shop with nearly everything, a good bakery, plenty of cafes and a takeaway pizza place in this small town. There’s also a tourist office where you can leave luggage for free. The apartment is very central, and the place itself is lovely, roomy for four and well equipped. It sleeps six, but two people would use the sofa bed in the living area, which isn’t ideal. The showers are good, and the beds are comfortable with nice white sheets and towels. There’s hanging space in one bedroom, though it’s very high and you need a pole to reach things. As mentioned, getting to the apartment means climbing about 50 uneven steps, so it’s difficult for anyone with limited mobility. The church bells are very close and ring on the hour from 7 a.m. every day. We’d recommend it overall.
