Art Hotel Varese

We chose Art Hotel for our wedding in April and suggested it to our guests as well. Everyone received the same warm, professional welcome we remembered from earlier stays in Varese, and all our guests were completely satisfied with the service. The gardens and outdoor areas are lovely for spending time with family, with a spacious cafe area used for breakfast in the morning and by the restaurant at night. The hotel has always left us with a great impression: it’s clean, has excellent service and wifi, and the staff are polite and helpful. It’s in a pleasant, safe area close to the center of Varese, and the cozy atmosphere made the occasion feel special. Definitely recommended.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and the road noise came straight through the windows. The rooms are mostly joined by connecting doors, so I could hear my neighbor turning pages while reading. I’ve never stayed somewhere so noisy.

Susana at the breakfast buffet was lovely and helpful, and we got a friendly welcome with our dog. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor is minimal but still warm. We had a very positive stay, though the nearby street meant we could hear some traffic noise.

The service let us down. We asked how to get to Milan, but got no help with driving, train options, or even the taxi fare to the local station. Breakfast also had limited choices. The rooms were good and had air conditioning, but the hotel is by a busy road and the poor sound insulation made the traffic easy to hear.
