Hotel La Vetta

Dinner at both restaurants was very good, with excellent pasta whether you choose à la carte or the set dining experience, plus a nice wine list. The rooms are nicely decorated with a mountain feel, and breakfast was okay, though there weren't many healthy options like fruit, chia, nuts, or whole-grain bread. We had lovely weather and a nice stay, but the hotel's website gives the wellness and spa experience the wrong impression. There's no wellness area: you can book a half-hour in an outdoor barrel sauna, then use a ground-floor hotel room to change and go outside to it. That room has two loungers and tea if you have time to relax within the 30-minute slot. Massages take place in a hotel room set aside for them. There's no fitness area or ski room for storing skis and boots either.

Breakfast has a good range, and Stubbe is a fantastic spot for dinner. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, while still keeping their alpine character. Amazing hotel, excellent team.

The location works really well for hiking and cycling. In summer, the free parking was a real plus, and our spacious, spotless room had a quiet terrace looking out at the mountains. Breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted great. The hotel is modern and stylish, with a cozy lounge, tasty cocktails at the bar, and welcoming staff. During the heatwave we really noticed there was no air conditioning, and it would've been nice to have a pool.

We stayed for two nights as a family of four, in two connected rooms, each with a balcony. The hotel was clean and nicely presented, and the staff were lovely. There's a fun rope park close by. A great little hotel in the ski town of San Domenico.
