We didn’t stay at the hotel, but met friends there and had a great meal on the spacious patio. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the servers were cheerful. It’s only a two-minute walk to the beach.

I wasn’t impressed. Breakfast cost an extra €5, but all there was to eat was basic pastries and coffee. No ham or cheese, which I’d expect in Italy. When I asked, they explained there weren’t many guests because it was early in the season, and took just €1 off the price. My room was clean, though a little tired. I also arrived at the advertised check-in time of 1430 and found the hotel locked. Someone eventually came to let me in at 1500.

A nice place, though the traffic noise made the stay less enjoyable.
