Our car broke down on the way home, so we ended up spending three nights at residence al palace. The owner was so helpful, even offering to arrange a taxi and to stay in touch with the garage each day since we don't speak Italian. The room was great, with a comfortable bed and good pillows, working air conditioning, and Netflix on the TV. There’s also a nice covered outdoor area, and the beach is close by. We enjoyed the pizza at Passione Pizza too, it was cozy and really tasty.

The hot water was out, and the staff acted like there was nothing to be done. The air conditioning didn't work either, and all they could offer was a ridiculous fan. Honestly, I'd rather camp on the beach than stay at Palace Hotel. A terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff were very polite and pleasant, but the hotel and rooms feel far too old and are badly in need of renovation.
