Residenze Longhi

Ivana made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, taking care of every detail, big or small. Our room was beautifully arranged, spotless, and looked out over the sea and a garden with little places to relax and have a cold drink. She personally handled all our requests, and the lovely setting made us feel special. We spent a week at Residenze Longhi a Vasto and will remember it as both a relaxing holiday and a wonderful experience of hospitality. If we return, this is where we’ll stay.

Ivana greeted us each morning with a thoughtful, delicious breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept, with a lovely mix of plants and trees and several places to sit back and enjoy the water view. This is a unique three-room property in a fantastic spot right on the water in Vasto. Highly recommend. Grazie, Ivana!

The garden and aqua-colored sea were lovely to look out at from our terrace, with fresh yellow roses in a blue vase when we arrived in pouring rain. Ivana was like a ray of sunshine, offering drinks and little sandwiches and making us feel at home right away. You don’t need to speak Italian to feel welcome here. The care in every little detail was amazing. Breakfast was far from ordinary: fresh cappuccino and coffee, homemade cakes, bread, croissants, local cheeses, fruit, mini sandwiches with all kinds of fillings, and freshly made eggs. Ivana baked the cake the night before, and the whole place smelled wonderful. Guests can use the kitchen to make lunch or dinner, and there’s wine, Prosecco, beer, and other drinks available to buy. A short walk down the stairs takes you to a semi-private pebble beach. There are two kayaks and sun chairs, while the garden has tables, chairs, and loungers. It’s a lovely spot to listen to the waves and enjoy the sun. The Via Verde walk and bike path, which I believe runs 100km along the coast, starts about 400 meters away where the old train tracks were removed. It’s an easy walk from the B&B to the Marine, about 5km, and Ivana can help arrange a bicycle or e-bike. Punta Aderci nature reserve is about a 15-minute drive away. Ivana looked after us from the moment we arrived to the very last minute. We didn’t want to leave. This place is so special, and my words can’t really do it justice. The Iris Suite gave us a peaceful, private stay just steps from the sea. We were there from August 23rd to 30th with our girls, aged six and nine. Our private table was a lovely place to unwind to the sound of the waves, and the location made it easy to reach the beaches or drive a few minutes to the historic center for dinner and a stroll. Mrs. Ivana made sure breakfast was varied and well prepared, with options to please both us and the girls. She also left snacks for aperitifs. The room was carefully cleaned and tidied every day, and our towels were changed daily. We felt very pampered by Mrs. Ivana. A truly unforgettable stay, highly recommended.
