Vasto Aparthotel

We came from Australia for a family get-together in Marina di Vasto, with 11 of us staying across five rooms at Vasto Aparthotel. Ilaiza & Vittorio run this family-owned place, and they were warm, gracious, and ready to help with anything. Every morning started with a smile. Before our July 2024 stay, we had plenty of questions and requests, beginning a few months earlier. They replied to all our emails promptly, which gave us confidence we'd chosen the right place. They also arranged taxi and coach bookings and shared ideas for restaurants and things to do. Breakfast had lots of options and was plentiful, and we could get snacks, coffee, and drinks during the day. The balconies came in handy for drying clothes and swimming gear. The beach area set aside for guests and the restaurants were just a few minutes' walk away, and the location was convenient for everything else Vasto offers. When our five nights were up, we left with hugs, kisses, and good wishes. They were the best hosts we could have asked for. We'd gladly come back and recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Marina di Vasto.

We were off season, and the usual hotels were full, so I found this place through Google. It had opened shortly before COVID and felt like a good four-star hotel, with spotless rooms, good Wi-Fi, a fridge, and working heating. I had to figure out the heated towel rail by pressing buttons at random, though I could have asked for help. Breakfast was good. There was no one at reception outside the early evening in the off season, but the family lives nearby and left a mobile number in case of trouble. I didn't need to call, and you can get in after hours with a key. There's off-street parking, useful in the main season. The manager and his father were extremely helpful, and they checked in about my arrival time. They'd even get up early to provide breakfast early. Thoroughly recommend. P.S. They had good COVID precautions in place.

Definitely somewhere you should stay at least once.

We just got back from Vasto, and this hotel was superb! I've stayed at other three-star places, but this was the best of its kind. It's new, beautifully furnished, and every detail feels considered and useful. The shower seemed worthy of a four-star hotel, and the terrace had a drying rack, table, and chairs. Cleanliness was exceptional. The mattress and pillows were finally comfortable, and the bed linen was clean and new. Breakfast had every kind of treat, always fresh and replenished right up to the end of service. The staff were impeccable. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning before our room was ready, but they showed us in and offered breakfast. No other place has ever given us that courtesy. The owners, a sister and brother, were fantastic: polite, welcoming, kind, helpful, and clearly passionate about their work. A special mention to the night porter, whose name I don't know, for always being so polite. I could say much more, but we left our hearts at this hotel. Thank you so much.
