Villa Diamante

That view is beautiful. Sadly, it was the one good part of the stay. The rooms were dusty and there was hardly anything in the way of amenities. When we called the property, the way we were treated was a test of anyone's patience. We were told some rooms might have hot water, but I ended up bathing my 3-month-old son in water that was practically freezing. And when we arrived, we were told off for sitting at the outdoor tables under the gazebo. Apparently they were for reception, not for shade, even though we were just waiting for someone to bring us the keys and perhaps have a bite. The view really is beautiful, though.

We picked this hotel for a one-night stop on the way home, and the setting was stunning. The basic room was spacious, with a sea-view terrace, a big comfortable bed, and a new bathroom that worked well. A path leads straight down to the beach. Breakfast can be eaten in the large, shaded garden if you like.

The location made getting around easy. The marina is under a five-minute drive, Punta Aderci takes about five minutes, Canale beach is 150 meters away, and the bike path right next door goes everywhere. Staff were really friendly and we had a great time. The furnishings could use an update, but with a little work the place would be perfect. If we're back in the area, we'd definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful vacation and are so glad we found Villa Diamante. The view and location are priceless, and it's lovely for children too. By car, it's quick to get everywhere. The staff were kind, attentive without hovering, and very helpful. We'll definitely be back soon! ♥️♥️ Thank you.
