Tenuta Giardini Del Salento

I’ve stayed in lots of B&Bs, but nowhere else has made me feel as at home as Giardini del Salento. Antonietta, the owner, is a delight. The breakfast is excellent, with warm pastries and creamy cappuccinos that are hard to resist. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the property is well kept, with plenty of outdoor space and parking. Dogs are welcome and get lots of care, and they can safely roam around the big garden. I’d recommend it if you want to feel at home while away.

In my experience, the room had two downsides. There weren’t any shutters, so it was already light at 6, and breakfast felt really cheap, almost like the first person to leave the room got it. Apart from that, everything was okay. It’s a beautiful, quiet place.

Antonietta, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. She was ready to sort out any problems and offer advice while we were there. Pets are welcomed with so much love, too. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have every comfort, and the Italian breakfast came with fabulous Lecce pastries. The location is surrounded by nature and just minutes from some of Salento’s best beaches. A well-earned five stars. See you soon.

We were there from July 16th to 22nd. The room was lovely, very clean, and had new furnishings. Antonietta was kind and helpful, and breakfast was excellent: Leccese pasticciotto, different brioches, homemade tart, yogurt, and fresh fruit. We’ll definitely return.
