The lack of staff was striking: there was no receptionist or anyone else on hand, despite the €60 nightly price. We were there for a wedding, and every room was occupied by Spanish wedding guests. In my room, half the shower screen was missing; another room had no faucet on its shower, and a toilet elsewhere was clogged and wouldn't flush properly. There were cobwebs and spiders in the rooms. Many of the windows open onto the terrace.

They won't let you stay if you're underage, even with permission from your parents. If you're a minor thinking of booking here, don't, because they won't accept you. I think that's unreasonable; other hotels allow it.

The staff were professional and friendly, and the cafe made excellent coffee. I was in room 211 and would have liked WiFi there, though that's a minor point for me. I stayed in a single room on a business trip, and apart from a few small details, everything was fine. I left satisfied.

It's in a quiet part of Turin, very near Juventus Stadium. The rooms are on the small side but comfortable, and the prices are pretty reasonable.

The room and bathroom were clean and quite basic, and I found the mattress a little hard. The managing hotel, galant, is about a kilometer away. For the city center, bus 11 or 67 takes around 30 minutes to Porta Susa train station.
