Not a good place.

The staff were helpful, and getting to Venice by public transport was easy. Still, the building was hard to identify when we arrived, and at night we were glad a neighbor in the lobby showed us where to go. Our keys kept failing during the trip, too. The place is cheap, but the fan couldn't keep up with the Venetian summer heat.

The sheets were clean, but the bathrooms seemed not to have been cleaned for days. We only saw the owners when we arrived, and the rest of the room was disappointing.

Fine for a night, and the transport connections are good. The area itself is dull. Staff didn't seem to speak a European language, just their own, and I couldn't understand a thing they said, blblblbbllblblvlgkdkensjj :)

Getting around was easy thanks to the good location and metro access, and I found the place clean and pleasant. The woman who greeted tourists gave terrible service, though. She didn't have to speak Spanish, but she could at least have tried to sort out the small problem we had.
