Antony Hotel

Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and prepared really well. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and everyone in our group was happy with our stay. Staff welcomed us warmly, were patient, and did their best to accommodate what we needed. I have nothing negative to say and would recommend it to family and friends. Other hotels throughout Italy could take a cue from them.

Tony deserves a special thank you for his kindness, professionalism, and care. He made our stay even more special. The views were incredible, and the location was perfect. We had a wonderful time at this great hotel and were delighted with the experience. We’d highly recommend it and would definitely return to Venice.

The room phone didn’t work, so we had to keep going up and down the stairs to tell staff about problems. That was especially inconvenient with my husband, our toddler, and our infant with me. The sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain, and although we reported it along with the strong cigarette odor, nothing was done about the smell during our stay. From the moment we entered, the room smelled overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. With the AC not working, it became hot and stuffy, making the odor even worse. The broken amenities and poor response left us frustrated and uncomfortable while traveling with small children. The room conditions and lack of proper help made the stay very unpleasant. I hope the hotel fixes these issues so future guests don’t face the same problems.

The quiet area and large car park behind the hotel were useful. There isn’t much nearby, though, and it’s nearly a kilometre’s walk to find a decent restaurant. I was satisfied with my stay: the rooms were comfortable, the beds were good, and they had the essentials for a pleasant visit. Service was very good, and the restaurant served excellent food. The décor felt a bit too modern for my taste, but the hotel was still quite good overall. The main drawback was the air conditioning, which was simply off and couldn’t be adjusted for heating or cooling. It’s annoying when you can’t choose whether to be warm or cool, even though that’s a small comfort that matters. The minibar fridge made some noise, but not too much. A practical, comfortable place for travellers.
