Cà Nova Ristorante Hotel

The owners are super nice and always looking after what you need, and the service is amazing. Rooms are old fashioned but very clean. The only inconvenience is the small desk, which makes working on a computer a bit difficult. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of care and has plenty of choices. The restaurant is perfect if you like fish and seafood, since that’s all they serve. The products are really fresh, and I loved the tuna tartar.

We had to cut our weekend short after just one day. Our car was broken into right outside the hotel, and we were robbed. Since it was Sunday and no repair shop was open, the manager kindly helped us patch the broken window with tape so we could drive home. We filed a report, though I’m not sure the police will find whoever did it. I asked three times whether there was a camera, but got no answer. If any neighbor saw something, please contact me! 🥺🙏 The room itself was okay, though a little dark. We never got to try the food. If you’re coming by car, be careful.

We still remember the meal at this hotel, nearly seven years later. My wife and I stumbled across the place while lost in Venice and trying to find our accommodation. The staff kindly helped us get oriented, so we returned later for dinner. The food was so good we came back for a second meal. We wished we could have stayed there too, but the hotel was full.

The breakfast and coffee helped make up for a disappointing dinner. We waited three hours for the meal, and the food we were served didn't live up to expectations. The restaurant experience was a letdown when we visited, even though the hotel staff were great, especially the younger man at reception. The hotel's location is lovely.
