Campanile Venice Mestre

The room was clean, though just before we left we found a water bottle from previous guests under the bed. The bigger issue was the noise. From our second-floor room we heard street conversations all night, along with trains and cars that seemed to pass right beside the bed. The nearby Venice Mestre station is convenient, but we also saw some rather shady characters around it. Would I stay here again? Only if I didn't need to sleep. They charge €5 to store luggage, which I personally think should be free.

It was an uncomfortable stay, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Every little thing seemed to cost extra, including luggage storage and early check-in. Other places usually let you leave your bags until the room is ready so you can go sightseeing, but not here. Getting into Venice is a process, too. The room had very little in it. The bed wasn't even made, there was no chair or in-room coffee, and the TV only had basic cable, with no smart features for unwinding. Breakfast was subpar, and the eggs were gross.

A good budget base for exploring Venice. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, well maintained, and moderate in size. Breakfast was a satisfying continental buffet for the price. The bus stop for Venice Santa Lucia is very close, across from the building, and Mestre train station is a 5-8 minute walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice, the beds very comfortable, and everything was really clean. Staff were professional and polite, and the rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including pastries, salami, cheese, cereals, fruit, and juice. The hotel is close to the railway and the bus stop for the airports. Nothing negative to say, and thanks to all the staff.
