Mrs Olimpia looked after us and our children well, even giving them paper and markers to draw with when they got restless in the hallway. She also kindly offered early check-in since our rooms were ready. The location was very good, and we had an apartment with a double room and a triple room for two adults and three children. It was clean and comfortable, though I wouldn’t call it a luxury hotel, and the price may be a bit high for the condition. Breakfast was available for an extra 7€ per adult and was good. The downside was the ancient TVs. Opening YouTube or another app takes what feels like 5 years.

The hotel does the job if you just need a bed. It’s cheap, and the train and bus are nearby with easy connections to Venice. The rooms were relatively clean, but old and poorly maintained, and the surrounding area wasn’t very welcoming. The place feels like it’s falling apart, held together by hope and dreams. After the hotel’s “breakfast,” McDonalds felt glorious. The selection was basically 2 croissants, bad juice, and coffee, with practically nothing else. Don’t expect more from the hotel.

The rooms were on the small side, but clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included, basic but perfectly fine. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Venice Mestre station is a five minute walk away, and bus 6 and 6L stop right outside for the 10 minute trip to Venice. Great value for money in the budget range, just don’t expect a 5 star place.

The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, even though the amenities and location weren’t high standard. The room was simple but had what we needed. We had a triple room for two, which was a decent size, though the bathroom was a little small. On Saturday morning, they let us leave our bags before check-in so we could go sightseeing around venice. That evening, the receptionist explained things clearly in English and was very kind. I had to leave for the airport at 4 a.m. on Sunday, and the railway station area felt dodgy. I asked Jason, the receptionist/security man, for advice. He was a gem, really helpful and kind as he tried to find the safest, best way for me, a young woman traveling alone, to reach the bus station. He deserves recognition. Thank you, Mondial staff.
