Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice

Anna made our stay especially memorable. From the start, she was kind, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. Her recommendations were excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Jacopo at the bar was also warm and attentive, and we enjoyed every interaction with him. The Radisson Collection in Venice has beautiful facilities and a great location, but it was the staff’s personal attention and high level of service that really stood out. A fantastic choice, highly recommended.

The location made getting around very easy: the hotel is close to the central train station and bus station, right across from a boat stop, and surrounded by plenty of good places to eat. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely water view from the first floor. It could get a bit loud at times, though it was still acceptable. The bathroom was very nice, but the floor gets extremely slippery if you’re wearing the hotel slippers. I was also disappointed by the pillow menu. The pillows felt like the ones on an airline, not comfortable at all. Staff attention was generally good, though breakfast service could have been more attentive. Nobody seemed to check on guests much, and plates weren’t cleared until we’d completely finished. Overall, a good stay, with comfortable rooms and a convenient location, plus a few things that could be better.

Mattea at the front desk welcomed us like family as soon as we arrived. Check-in was easy, and she offered us several drinks, including Prosecco. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and just what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The bellman, whose name I didn’t catch, was kind enough to show us up. We felt right at home in this location, close to the sights like San Marco Sq. and Ponte Rialto, yet with a local feel. Restaurants and boutiques were only a 5-10 minute walk away, among old palazzos and canals. Mattea also gave us several dining suggestions, and we tried them. We had a wonderful stay. The property had a festive feel, with Christmas trees and decorations at the entrance, and our spacious room had beautiful views, good air conditioning, and a well-appointed bathroom. The intuitive controls and thoughtful layout really stood out. On a gloomy, rainy November day, we enjoyed relaxing in the two break rooms on the first and third floors and looking at the wall paintings. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive too. Getting around was easy: it’s a 10-minute walk from the train station and right by the water bus stop for the airport. Federica gave us a warm welcome at the front desk, was helpful and friendly, and immediately suggested some great places to eat. She also upgraded us to a canal-facing room, an Amex FHR perk, without us needing to ask, and there was a welcome bottle of Champagne. I’d happily come back.
