Everything was fine for us: a good room, a nice price, and a polite host. Maybe the soundproofing could be better.

For a couple of nights it might be okay, but I wouldn't suggest staying longer. The room itself was nice and the heating was adequate, though the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows and the parking area were dirty, and the AC wouldn't work even though it tried to switch on. The TV wasn't tuned or connected to the internet, and the included internet didn't work either. At arrival, the host immediately asked for €10 per day for parking and the tourist tax in cash, with no card option, and hurried us to provide our documents. The parking fee seemed high, and the welcome wasn't great. We won't return and will look elsewhere next time.

We found this place on Booking and what a bad bit of luck. The garage was listed as free parking, but they charged 10 euros, and getting the car in was difficult. Worse, animal poop was all over the garage, which is also the way to the rooms and reception. We couldn't see it in the dark, stepped in it, and ruined our shoes. By morning it was filthy. How do they rent the place without even cleaning it? It may sound trivial, but this was the start of a nearly month-long trip. Think about having to clean feces off your shoes while traveling. The room smelled unbearably of mold, feces and sewage. There was mold everywhere, and because I'm extremely allergic, I got sick and it affected my trip. When I asked for help on WhatsApp, the receptionist knocked on our door and said all of Venice smells of mold because there's so much water. He said the other rooms were the same, so there was no point moving. I had to sleep wearing a mask and still woke up feeling awful. The smell of poop from our shoes mixed with the smell outside, the bathroom sewage and the mold. Just remembering it turns my stomach. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room, and the bathroom was so cramped that you had to use the toilet with your head by the sink. Everything was bad. On top of that, they told Booking that we hadn't shown up, so we'll still have to pay a no-show fee. I don't know why they did that, maybe they wanted to avoid a terrible review, but I can't understand it. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this place earned one. It wasn't just bad, it was awful.

We stayed for the weekend, and the place was unbelievable. The rooms were filthy, service was rude, and they even lied. We complained about the cleanliness, and they claimed the rooms were clean, then only vacuumed. That was outrageous. There was a stink everywhere. It felt like something had died in the drainpipes. The area didn't feel safe at all, and the staff only made that worse. Such unprofessional behavior takes effort, thumbs up for that. Avoid this place and stay somewhere else.
