Pallanza worked well for us, especially since parking seemed easier to find there than in many parts of Italy. The location is great, and the room is roomy, with a balcony and contemporary decor inside a historic building. The price felt like good value, so I’d definitely recommend it. The landlady was easy to reach on WhatsApp and always willing to help.

We only had a short stay in Verbania for our anniversary, but Michela's place made it feel special. The welcome touches in the cupboard and fridge were lovely: pasta and sauce I sadly didn’t get time to make, spices, balsamic vinegar, treats, coffee, juice, water, and a bottle of wine. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and close to everything we needed on foot. My husband had to work while we were away, and the Wi-Fi was reliable; Michela also provided an extension cord that made things easy. It was nice to leave the balcony doors open at night, too. We had great meals around Verbania, and Ristorante Milano was a highlight. After dinner, we spent time talking with Chef Agostino and his wife about their creative, ambitious projects. They made us feel at home, just as Michela did. We’ll come back for a longer visit, and I hope Aqualago is available then. Thank you, Michela!

Pallanza was a perfect base, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the apartment itself was spotless. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it. Michela was great at communicating with us. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely return someday!

The owner was so kind, and we had a lovely holiday in the centre of such beautiful surroundings. The apartment was welcoming, very clean, and had everything we needed. I’d gladly recommend it and would stay again on another holiday. Thanks for everything.
