B&b The Divine

We came as a family with a child after a long trip, but this didn’t feel like a family room at all. The red walls and dirty bedspreads made it look more like a room for two adults by the hour. There was no soap when we arrived; after a long explanation, staff brought some. The towels were dirty and had someone else’s hair on them, there were cobwebs and trash around, and the toilet smelled like an open sewer. The whole place was filthy, nothing like the photos, and felt more like a brothel than a hotel. The air conditioner didn’t work and smelled damp. There was no water, and the coffee machine had no coffee. When we asked, they just said, “It’s over.” Nobody spoke English, and staff shouted at us in Italian. We decided to leave after one night. The night staff said we’d get half our payment back for the second night, but in the morning a woman yelled at my husband and refused to refund us.

The rooms are an unexpected idea, themed around famous women of Hollywood, and ours was clean and modern. The staff were warm and friendly, and did their best to help when we needed anything. Getting out of the car park and turning left is tricky because the road is so busy.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The owner and the staff at the bar were really friendly.

Disgusting.
