After a disastrous stay at another hotel, Hotel Ancora saved our trip. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, had a lake view, and came with all the amenities we needed. Room service was exceptional too. The staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed a full week here, including the tasty breakfast with a satisfying mix of savory and sweet options, from baked goods and fruit to vegetables. The hotel's cozy feel made up for the rainy weather and turned our vacation into a romantic getaway. Thanks again.

We slept peacefully, even with the road nearby, thanks to the excellent insulation. The views of Lago Maggiore were breathtaking, and this small hotel has been renovated impeccably. A special thanks to the lovely ladies at reception.

Right in the center of Intra, it's easy to get around, find shops and places to eat, and the ferry is just next door. Our room looked out over the port, which was lovely. They welcomed our dog for 15 euros a night, and the car stayed safe in their closed garage box. The staff were very kind. My husband got sick during the night, and reception gave us some medicine to get us through until the pharmacy opened the next day. We'd happily return :)

The staff are what make Hotel Ancora stand out. They're super friendly and quick to respond to what you need. They even made me a cappuccino just the way I wanted it, and did it with a smile. It's right on the lake, in excellent condition, and the breakfast selection is terrific.

For me, it's top rated and highly recommended. The place is crystal clean and comfy, right in the middle of everything, with cruise boats in front and shops, restaurants, and bars all around. The people are lovely, friendly, and very supportive. Top 100% for me. Max
