The lake on one side and the mountains rising on the other make for a beautiful view from the window. Our room was cozy and spotless, and it had been cooled to just the right temperature when we arrived on a 35° C day. The staff were so friendly and even helped us get delicious food and drinks from the neighbouring restaurant after 11 pm. Breakfast is small but has everything, and it's all good quality: fresh juice and coffee, ham, cheese, honeycomb, and fruit. We felt so at home that we wanted to move in, and we'll 100% come back. We didn't realize they'd pick guests up from the next station, so we ended up walking halfway up the mountain with a suitcase. I'd suggest calling the hotel about a pickup or taking an Uber/Taxi.

The setting is peaceful and the views are amazing. It's family run, and management were wonderful. They even arranged to drop us off at the local train station, where we would otherwise have walked.

The happy owners, clean room, and tasty breakfast made our stay a lovely memory. Hotel San Gerolamo has a warm, romantic feel, with a view over the lake that made it a nice spot for a weekend.

The drive up to the hotel was pretty challenging for me in a medium-sized car. But the people were absolutely lovely: they waited up for us, brought pizza 🍕 to our room, and gave us a wonderful breakfast. Five stars ✨.

We spent four nights here for a family reunion and really enjoyed our stay. It's a friendly, family-owned hotel in a small village, with newly refurbished, air-conditioned rooms and beautiful views of Lake Como. Breakfast is plentiful, the service is very good, and the nearby restaurant, also owned by the family, is a great spot to try local dishes.
