Everything we needed was in the accommodation, and there's a fantastic little restaurant just down the street. We loved staying in the Italian countryside and experiencing local life. It was so much better for us than a busy, tourist packed city.

The owner, Hraziella, speaks only Italian, though she understands some Spanish. She has lovely dogs, too. It's a quiet place to get away from Cinque Terre, and there's a very good restaurant just five minutes away. At night you can hear the crickets.

We'd definitely come back. The one bedroom apartment was beautiful and the view incredible. The owner was very nice. She didn't speak English, but she still managed to get her point across.

Traveling with my grandmother, who was 79, we booked a stay but had to cancel because of the long distance from the accommodation to Vernazza's main street. We were still charged for the stay.

A pleasant place to stay, in a nice location with a nice host.
