The location made things easy, right by the town square and across from Mateos, which was our favorite breakfast spot. La Scuna Wine and Beer is next to the apartment too, and we recommend it. We stayed in Room 2 and loved sitting on its balcony, looking toward Corniglia. Of the Cinque Terre towns, Corniglia was our favorite because it felt the quietest and least populated. Sandra was a wonderful host. She noticed we had wine but no opener or glasses, then brought us her own. We had local pecorino cheese and focaccia on the terrace, keeping the cheese in the little room fridge. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was quite nice with plenty of hot shower water. The towels felt a bit like sandpaper, but that was a small thing beside how lovely the stay was.

Sandra was so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. The room was lovely and clean, as were the bed and bathroom, and the balcony had a special view. Such a charming spot in Corniglia! I’m sure I’ll stay there again when I return to Cinqueterre.

After 2.5 weeks touring France and Italy, we had a lot of luggage to manage. There are hardly any elevators at the train stations in cinque terre, so we asked for help when leaving. The owner kindly came to see us off at the station. Thank you so much!

Clean, pleasant and affordable in a beautiful little town with plenty to do. Compared with the neighboring towns, you’ll be much better off in $$$. Sandra knows people around town, so ask her if you need anything.
