Giulia made our stay in Vernole so easy. She shared lots of ideas for things to see and do, answered our questions right away, and was flexible when we wanted to extend our visit. Barrocco House is beautifully decorated and has everything you need, with some sweet treats waiting on the counter too. Having a car made Vernole a good base for nearby beaches, Lecce, and trips around Salento. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, and couldn't have asked for a better stay. If you find this place, I'd say look no further!

Casa Barocco made arriving after a long trip much easier: there was water waiting for me, along with ingredients for a good meal, and I didn't need to bring anything to feel at home. I had some doubts before arriving, but the house was beautiful and very comfortable, with thoughtful decor and amenities. Giulia and her family were responsive and helpful with every question or concern. Vernole is well placed between Lecce and the sea, and has the basics nearby, including a bar, restaurant, hairdresser, and grocery shops. Traveling from abroad was easy.

We had a really relaxing week in this cozy place. The sea is 10 minutes away and the city is 15 minutes away. Good value for the money, and we hope to come back soon. Thanks!

Giulia, the owner, welcomed us with water, yogurt, juice, and tasty pastries in the fridge, and gave us useful suggestions for beaches, places to visit, and restaurants. The apartment was beautiful, very well kept, quiet, and had everything we needed. It was spacious for two, with a parking spot right outside the entrance. Convenient for getting to Lecce and the best beaches in Salento. We'd definitely return if we get the chance. Highly recommended!!

After a long journey, I arrived to find cookies, fruit juice, and cold water. The apartment is bright, charming, and nicely furnished, with everything organized and comfortable. I slept well with no night noise. It's a short walk from Vernole's main square and 13 minutes from the San Foca seafront. Street parking is easy. A great choice for anyone like me who wants to try a different beach each day 😃
