Agriturismo Casa Rosa

A hidden little B&B with gorgeous views, just outside Verona. It's easy to reach by car, but there are only a couple of rooms, so book ahead. The owners are so nice, and the farm-to-table meals were delicious. Don't miss it!

We ate dinner at Casa Rosa twice because the meals and the view were that good. Breakfast was fantastic too. The farm is lovely to wander around, with lots of animals, and Rocco the donkey was the star for us. He came running and braying excitedly when he saw us at the fence, and loves being petted and scratched. Just be aware he may give little nips when he's excited. He doesn't mean to hurt you, but it can pinch your skin or clothes. We also appreciated the air conditioning during a very warm stretch of summer. Marco and his family were welcoming and friendly, and Marco gave us a parking tip that worked well. It's about a 15-minute drive into Verona. We had such a relaxing, wonderful stay that I only wish we'd booked for longer. I hope I can come back. Thanks, Marco and family!

We've just been back for our second stay. It's a beautiful, peaceful place with a great view, perfect for unwinding. The family are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant serves excellent food at low prices. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it. Thanks!

The homemade cakes at breakfast were lovely, though the vegetarian options felt a bit simple. Some tomatoes or other vegetables would have been nice. Still, everything was made with love. Casa Rosa has a great atmosphere, fair prices, and plenty of thoughtful details surrounded by nature. Marco is always friendly and helpful, and he and his family take great care of their guests. We'll definitely return. Grazie mille.
