Tenuta Delo is run by a lovely family who made us feel as welcome as friends. That warmth was part of a wonderful short break. The house has been restored with real care and taste, and the grounds are beautiful. From there, the views stretch to the mountains in the north and the plains in the south. Our three-bed room was roomy and comfortable, with working air conditioning and beautiful antiques. Breakfast was top quality, with plenty of sweet and savory choices, homemade jams, and excellent coffee.

Everything felt peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place itself was stunning, with thoughtful design in every detail. It felt like a dream stay, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Hector and his family were the best part, so kind, smiling, and always ready to help. The place was beautiful, clean, and tastefully done. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Breakfast was a proper feast, with local specialties and a steady supply of espressos and cappuccinos. The place is so relaxing, with fast Wi-Fi too, which these days is hard to do without. Delo Relais is a hidden gem, though tracking it down feels like an orienteering challenge. You may take a few wrong turns, but it's worth it. When you arrive, don't expect an ordinary hotel manager. You're welcomed by a forensic pathologist, who offers the warmest, most genuine hospitality. The rooms have real antiques, not fake stuff, and they're stylish, comfortable, and rustic without feeling worn. The rolling meadows looking out over Verona are unforgettable. It's dangerously easy to get hooked on this place.

We only booked one night and left wishing we'd stayed longer. The farmhouse and grounds are gorgeous, and it feels like a spiritual retreat. The owner patiently helped us reserve dinner and suggested things to see in Verona. We really appreciated their help, especially since we're from Colorado, US and only speak English. This family and their beautiful place made us feel good about the world. We'll be back, and can't wait to try the wine!
