The host was so friendly and helpful that he felt like a friend right away. When he asked what I couldn’t eat or wanted for breakfast, I mentioned my diet and said bacon and eggs, which he’d already planned, were fine. He still went to the market and bought at least 20€ worth of groceries, then made the best breakfasts I’ve had in Italy so far. I was in the London Room, which had a London-red look and cute British details. The rooms are themed, which I thought was adorable. This was my first B&B, and if they’re all like this, I’ll stick with B&Bs from now on. The only drawback is that it’s a bit of a walk to the action. If a few extra minutes on foot don’t bother you, it’s a great place in Verona.

The host was friendly, accommodating, and spoke excellent English, which helped us as non-Italian-speaking tourists. We stayed in the Paris room for 6 nights while exploring Verona and nearby places. It was quirky, well equipped, and comfortable. The main center is a pleasant walk away, and local buses stop just 2mins away. There’s also a nice local bar around the corner. It made an excellent base, and we’d happily come back and recommend it.

We stayed in the London room, which was spacious and themed, in a clean, modern appartment. The host was friendly, well travelled, and spoke perfect english. He also made the best cappuccino we had in Italy. Breakfast was great too, and the location was excellent.

Gianluca made our stay especially pleasant. He explained what to see, where to go and when, including when not to go. The B&B was only 8-month old, with brand-new stylish rooms and bathrooms, and soft, fragrant sheets and towels. It’s centrally located and includes a simple, sweet breakfast. Italian and cosmopolitan, Gianluca’s Verona gave us a lovely place to spend a day exploring and shopping.
