The host was really welcoming, and the apartment had a nice welcome kit plus useful things like a washing machine and dishwasher. It also seems recently renovated, and everything was clean and well cared for. We spent a week here in Verona as a break away from everything. There’s public parking underneath in a peaceful neighborhood, and the bus stop nearby gets you downtown in a few minutes. It could work well for the fair too, though unfortunately not in the right year for us. I’ll likely be back for Vinitaly.

The location is excellent and the price is good, so I’d happily come back. The apartment itself is pleasant, with a lovely living room and a big TV. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and appliances, though the dishwasher leaves things wet. There’s no staffed reception, just a coded locker for check-in, but Ms. Manuela is reachable by phone and glad to answer questions. One bathroom is cramped, with the toilet right beside the sink and no bidet. Also, the advertised parking lot isn’t there, so you have to leave the car on the public street, which is free.
