Arena Luxury Rooms

The accommodation is modern and well kept, even though it's in an old building. The landlady was so pleasant and made our time in Verona even nicer. 👍👍👍

The room and bathroom were a decent size, and the quiet street was a real plus. We could see the arena from the window. There was no usual reception desk, which worked well enough: the day before, we got the entrance code and our room name through WhatsApp. Only three rooms were on our floor, and Wi-Fi was free. There is no breakfast at this hotel. The word "Luxury" in the name really doesn't fit. The bathroom had mold all over the tile and grout. The shower seal leaked, so the floor flooded when we showered, and the seal itself was moldy too. The fixtures looked unpleasant. There were massage jets in the tub, but we didn't use it because the tiles around it were moldy as well. In the evening, people outside could see into the bathroom because there were no blackout curtains. The sink was fairly large, but the high-mounted faucet sent water running down its side. The light over it was broken and hanging loose. The small fridge in the wardrobe couldn't be plugged in because the socket was broken. It was very moldy and smelled bad. The wardrobe was stuffed with blankets, pillows, and a box of dishes, leaving no room for our clothes. There was barely any storage anywhere in the room or bathroom, and nowhere to put or hang clean clothes or towels. We hung towels on the bathroom radiator, but it was very dusty and needed a good clean. There were no hooks for clothes. The room had just one shelf, already holding the coffee machine, kettle, cups, and information materials, so there was nowhere else to put things. The information folder was worn, and even the Wi-Fi password in it was out of date. We stayed four nights, and the room was cleaned once. The cleaners threw out a newly opened bar of soap and a fresh toilet paper roll, then left a new wrapped one. Meanwhile, they didn't refill the coffee capsules or bring more towels, even though ours were completely soaked. The location was our favorite part. It's fine for a night or two, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay.

The staff were helpful and organized, and there's a parking lot about 300 meters away where you can leave the car at a reasonable price for the area. The place is clean and right in the center, with an Arena view, so it's easy to explore the city on foot. The bathroom is huge and has a whirlpool tub. There's a coffee machine and kettle too. Highly recommend.

Davide was kind and helpful from the beginning, and the room was modern and clean. The location is excellent, right by the Arena and a short walk from the main sights, with an Arena view. This works especially well if you're staying in the heart of Verona without a car, though there is paid parking nearby. The kettle had nasty residue, so we didn't use it for safety reasons. I also missed having a microwave. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it.
