Best Western Hotel Armando

The breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of delicious choices. Our room was spotless and well equipped, and the team was friendly after giving us a warm welcome. The hotel is in a peaceful area, yet only 10 minutes on foot from the arena and Piazza Bra. Thanks for making our Silvester stay special.

After two weeks here, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It was especially nice coming back after a late night and seeing a friendly face.

Great value and a fantastic property. The updated rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located for shopping, dining, and sightseeing, in a safe area!

The room was already warm when we checked in for our early June reservation. We left our belongings and went out to eat, but when we got back it still hadn’t cooled down. The next 12 hours were miserable. We tried showering and napping to recover from jet lag, but it stayed boiling hot. We slept in incredible heat overnight, over 80 degrees Fahrenheit (28 C), and our room also had a broken balcony window that wouldn’t fully close. The evening front desk staff member was dramatic and exclaimed at US about THEIR hotel problem. He called the owner, who refused to come. We were told there were no other rooms available and everywhere else was booked (Opera in town). The next day, they made us pay for that horrible night. The owner was called again and again refused to come. I’ve never encountered more unprofessional hotel management. Somehow the staff made it seem like the AC not working was our fault. Save yourself the headache and go to ANY other Verona hotel. This place needs maintenance and new ownership. Best Western should reconsider its affiliation with them.
