The service was impeccable, and the rooms are comfortable. Just be aware that beds can squeak when they move, even in neighboring rooms. Breakfast is decent, though it could be better and costs extra. It’s an affordable choice for tourists, with good public transport links to Verona’s old city center.

I found it a good base for exploring the city, and I’d happily stay again. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the train station and a 35-minute walk to the city and Arena, which may feel far to some, but didn’t bother me. There are pleasant places to sit both indoors and outside. My room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with little noise from outdoors. It had a mini safe, coffee and tea maker, fridge, blackout curtains, and a nice bathroom with toiletries. I appreciated the slippers and bathrobe, too. The hotel is modern and comfortable, with friendly, efficient service and a decent buffet breakfast.

Check-in was incredibly miserable and annoying. The front desk was a complete mess, and the staff gave room descriptions that were entirely inaccurate. Best Western gold, platinum, or diamond members should avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hotel is quite far from the city centre, around 2-2.5 km, but there’s a boat every 12 minutes, so getting into town is fairly easy. It’s a really good option if you’re arriving by car.
