Hotel Touring is perfectly placed for exploring Verona, and we absolutely loved our stay. The room was lovely, with the biggest bed I've ever seen. Breakfast had a very good selection for every taste, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful.

Right in the Centro strorico and just metres from everything, this hotel is very easy to recommend. A cab from Porta Nuova station was only 12 euros. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect.

The hotel's city-centre location in Verona was very convenient, and the property has potential as a smart place to stay. Still, after two nights, the lack of genuine hospitality left me unable to recommend it. The reply from the hotel to our review was inaccurate, by the way. Readers might want to look at its other replies too, which could shape your view and provide free entertainment. I appreciated being upgraded to a junior suite, though I know upgrades can be a marketing tactic to encourage tourists like me, visiting from Switzerland, to return and pay full price. With an upgraded room, I expected the usual standard of service improvements, such as complimentary soft drinks or clear information about what's included. Instead, charges weren't explained clearly, and an unexpected €15 cross-sell for beverages left a sour note. Labeling the complimentary items would have prevented confusion and helped maintain goodwill. This spoiled what could otherwise have been an enjoyable stay. For anyone looking for warm, sincere Italian hospitality, I'd suggest somewhere else. If you don't mind small ploys and compromises, it may suit you, but for me it's a definite no.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's well placed for visiting Verona's attractions, but getting there by car and finding parking were both difficult. The rooms are small and nice, and supposedly quiet, but children and teenagers on the upper floor made it impossible for us to sleep. It's a good hotel, though the location seems to be the only reason for such a high price.
