Casa Verde

We were traveling with our two dogs, and everyone at Villa Fontana was lovely with them. Having indoor parking was the cherry on top, and the whole stay felt just right. It’s around a 20 minute walk to Piazza delle Erbe in central Verona, and the staff were all lovely. Special thanks to Filippo, who was especially kind and went above and beyond. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication and service were wonderful. Thank you, everyone at Villa Fontana.

The staff even arranged breakfast for us on the spot when we’d forgotten to book it ahead, which was a highlight. The rooms were tidy, service was great, and staff were friendly. It’s near Verona’s old town, with easy access to public transport and a walkable route into the historic center.

We ended up staying ten days after a family member had an accident on holiday, and needed a hotel near the hospital. We extended the booking several times and added another room near the end. The staff at Albergo Fontana were kind to my family through a difficult time, and nothing was too much trouble. I’m very grateful to all of them. Everyone, from management and breakfast and bar staff to the cleaners, was polite, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. I don’t speak Italian, but the team spoke English very well. The place was always spotless, the courtyard and hot tub were brilliant, and the rooms were spacious and modern. Breakfast was delicious too.

We were there as a family with two small kids and felt completely at ease. The staff were so friendly, and the place was spotless and perfectly located. The owner spent more than two hours helping us look for our lost backpack, and we got it back. Thanks for a great stay. Absolutely recommend it.
