The rooms were clean and nice, but the place was extremely hard to find. There’s no proper sign, just a small one by the doorbell. Staff spoke neither English, German, nor French. Come on, if you run a B&B you should understand at least a few words. They also looked like a mess and were very impolite. There was no real breakfast, just packaged supermarket croissants and no coffee, so bring your own food. Bad service, an extremely loud location, rude staff, and no breakfast.

I had a good stay, though the staff only speak Italian. The AC installation also seems off, and by morning there may be water on the floor.

I’ve never stayed somewhere this bad. The staff were rude and irresponsible, couldn’t speak even a word of English, and didn’t respond to problems.

The hostess was kind and welcoming, and gave us a useful Verona map marked with monuments, plus suggestions for sights to see. We paid about €40, which felt like excellent value. We stayed here last year, and the apartment is about a 20-minute walk from the center. From outside, the building looked old and unattractive, but the room changed our impression. The bed was new and comfortable, the bathroom had been completely redone, and the Wi-Fi was so fast that I could use my laptop. Breakfast was the one letdown, just a few packaged snacks. The apartment is also right by the train station.
