Domus Suites Verona

“There is no world outside Verona’s walls”............ I stayed here in November, and everything was perfect. The room was welcoming, very clean, and carefully finished down to the details. The location was excellent too. Matteo, the host, was very capable and always ready to help with anything we asked. Thanks again, we’ll definitely return.

I’m glad my daughter ended up having a wonderful stay in Verona elsewhere, even though losing 400 euros hurt. I had booked the Sofia suite for her and her boyfriend, but the bathroom in the photos she sent on arrival was unacceptable for a room at that price and wasn’t clean. I realized right away that the website’s lovely photos hadn’t represented the reality, and felt I’d been ripped off. We told the owner we were unhappy and refused to stay. She made no effort to reach an amicable solution and kept the payment for all three nights. She then portrayed herself as the victim, which felt like bad faith. I had to find another place for my daughter.

A lovely find in the historic center. The apartment was welcoming, comfortable and spotless, and the owner was kind and attentive. We would have liked to thank Matteo for his hospitality, but unfortunately we couldn’t.

Really good, though the bedding was a shame.
