The rooms have an appealing antique feel, though they could use better upkeep and a more refined finish, especially the suites. Breakfast also felt disappointing for the price. Even so, the hotel is very enjoyable, with a lovely atmosphere, warm and friendly service, and a beautiful outlook over the city. Its location is excellent, the views are lovely, and having parking included is a real bonus. The outdoor pool must be especially nice in summer. Quietly rated: worth stopping.

We only had one night here while passing through, which was far too short, and we’ll definitely return. The hotel is stunning, full of warmth, charm, and care. It really felt like Italy to me.

The views over Verona are special both in daylight and after dark. The location is stunning, and all the main sights are within walking distance. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely time here.

The staff made us feel completely at home, with so much attention to detail. I can’t pick a favorite between them, the amazing panorama, the historic building, or the spacious, comfortable rooms. The interior had original baroque-vintage furniture, all in tip-top shape, too.

The pool is peaceful and inviting, and the gardens are exquisite. The staff were exceptional, and breakfast on the terrace was so good, with an abundance of options. Set on the hill above Verona, the hotel has breathtaking views and a pleasant walk down into town, though I’d take a taxi back up. It’s a perfect place to stay for the Opera. We had a delightful time, and I highly recommend it.
